Piezo Actuators are poor in tensile strength. To ensure the safety of the actuator in dynamic load applications under tensile loading, preload is applied to the actuators using a spring like casing. DLPA by BSMS are developed to be used for dynamic applications. Different DLPA can be selected based on stroke and blocking force required.
